Editorial and Corrections Policy
Our standard is simple: a page should help a reader complete a real car-ownership task, make uncertainty visible and state when general online guidance is not enough.
Topic selection and scope
WR KOVELIQ focuses on car symptoms, maintenance planning, used-car inspection and repair decisions. We publish a topic when it supports a clear action or decision. Pages created only to repeat search phrases, summarize unrelated news or send readers to other sites are outside the current editorial scope.
Source hierarchy
For safety recalls, vehicle defects, tire guidance and regulatory requirements, we prefer official government sources such as NHTSA, the FTC and EPA. Vehicle-specific specifications, warning-light instructions and maintenance intervals should come from the owner's manual or manufacturer service information. Secondary sources may help explain context, but they do not override a primary source.
Sources are linked near the relevant guide or in a source section. A source link means the reference supports a claim; it does not mean the source reviewed or endorsed WR KOVELIQ.
Automotive diagnosis standard
We distinguish among a symptom, a possible cause, a test result and a confirmed diagnosis. A diagnostic trouble code is treated as a clue to a monitored condition—not an automatic instruction to replace the component named in a generic code description. Where several faults can produce the same symptom, the page explains what information or measurement helps separate them.
Safety review
Relevant guides identify conditions that can require stopping the vehicle, consulting the owner's manual or arranging towing. We warn against opening a hot cooling system, working under a vehicle supported only by a jack, handling high-voltage systems without training and servicing refrigerant without appropriate equipment. These warnings are not exhaustive; readers must follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedures and local law.
Authorship and expertise
Content is published by the WR KOVELIQ Editorial Desk. We do not invent personal credentials or imply that general editorial review is a hands-on vehicle inspection. If a future article is reviewed by a named professional, the page will state the reviewer's role and relevant qualification clearly.
Advertising and commercial influence
Advertising is separated from editorial content and does not control our diagnosis paths, safety thresholds or conclusions. An ad appearing near an article is not a recommendation. Sponsored material, if introduced, will be labeled prominently and will not be presented as independent editorial review.
Updates and corrections
Pages include a reviewed or updated date. We evaluate corrections based on safety impact, source quality and whether the change affects the reader's decision. Material factual corrections are made promptly when verified. Minor clarity, formatting and broken-link fixes may be applied without a separate notice.
To report a problem, use the contact page and include the page URL, the disputed statement, the proposed correction and a supporting primary source where possible. We do not guarantee that every suggestion will be adopted, but safety-related reports receive priority.
Content quality checks
- The title and description match the actual page.
- The article provides original organization, explanations or a usable tool.
- Important limitations and safety boundaries are visible.
- Internal links lead to closely related resources.
- Interactive controls work on mobile and keyboard input.
- Advertising does not obscure the main content.
- Pages that no longer meet the site's scope may be removed from search indexing until substantially revised.
